NEW DATE AND TIME!!

This hands-on introductory filmmaking course will teach the key elements of narrative fictional filmmaking, from pre-production including concept, scriptwriting, storyboarding to production with casting, rehearsal, filming and post-production editing. Each class session will consist of lecture/screening clips from exemplary films, discussion, and individual and group work. Students will be required to work on their films outside of class sessions and should have access to a digital video camera of some kind — even an iPhone will do!!

By the end of the 6 weeks, each student will have made a short film, approximately 2-5 mins in length, that will be screened during a public reception at ArtHaus on Wednesday, December 16.
