An outdoor (as much as possible) late night film showing of a Studio Ghibli film in the ArtHaus parking lot. Bring a lawn chair. An art project related to the film will take place indoors at 7 pm intended for middle school age youth.
Learn how to create simple and complex designs on one another’s faces, techniques and materials to create the best effects. Those who perfect their skills and would like to paint at Nordic Fest are welcome to join us.

A week of gathering with Jurgen Dovre to practice creativity and community through comics storytelling. We will learn how comics use words and pictures to tell unique stories. You and your classmates will get to read comics and learn how to make your own self-published comic book!
Middle schoolers through adults are now welcome to join Bobby Vrtis for four days of stage combat with swords. This fun class also comes with the option of showing off your brand new skills at the Shakespeare festival on July 23 at Phelps Park.
Spend the last Sunday of each month creating macrame wall hangings, plant holders, coasters and more. Celia Wilke will be the instructor but, feel free to bring your own inspiration for a guided work through. Materials are included.

Wheel throwing takes practice, but everyone needs a little instruction to get started. Spend an hour on a Friday night learning how to prep the wheel, center and form a cup.
Then come in Saturday to trim the bottom (free of charge) or get an Open Studio Pass and use the wheel as much as you like whenever we are open. Wheels cannot be used without an intro class. Classes must be registered for at least two weeks in advance to secure a spot.
This class is one guided session. You pick the date by putting it in the notes section at check out. If you would like more guided lessons add as many to your cart as you would like and include those dates as well.
