Lisa Lantz has been an associate professor of theatre and costume designer in the Visual and Performing Arts department since 2006, focusing on the topics of costume construction, stage makeup, design, theatre history, and digital rendering. Her current research is in wearable technology and makerspace pedagogical models. Lisa came to Luther from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland where she taught and designed for four years. Lisa received her BA in Theatre from University of Northern Iowa and her MFA in Costume Design and Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She has worked in theatre, dance and opera with companies and schools such as Commonweal Theatre Company, McLeod Summer Playhouse, Papermill Theatre, AGA Collaborative, Pensacola Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, St. Mary’s University, and University of West Florida.
