Paint Party Instructors

Once to twice a month in the evenings.  Works with your schedule.  Works well with Luther Federal Work Study.

Job duties include:

• • Painting an example painting 3-4 weeks ahead of time
  • Prepping the space for the attendees
  • Teaching adults or youth step by step through paintings
  • Walking around and encouraging participants
  • Cleaning up the space
  • Keeping Studio Manager up-to-date on supplies needed

Private Drawing Instructors

Weekly drawing lessons after school.  Works well with Luther Federal Work Study.

Job duties include:

• • Creating an age appropriate lesson for student each week
  • Meeting for 1/2 hour to 1 hour per student
  • Preps area with materials
  • Encourages and uplifts participants
  • Cleans up after each lesson

Summer AmeriCorps Members

Take an oath to serve those in poverty in America and help give them the skills they need to break through barriers.  ArtHaus’ AmeriCorps position is run through Volunteer Iowa and includes a living stipend, college loan forgiveness, and housing.

Job duties include:

• • Day Camp coordination throughout Winneshiek County
  • Building partnerships with libraries, churches, and other non-profits
  • Teaching adults and youth classes in creativity
  • Finding sponsorships for programs
  • Self-directed goals

J-Term Internship

Job duties could include teaching, studio management, gallery management, non-profit development, and more.
