For ages 9-12: Printmaking Studio
Come explore the art of transfer and create wearable art! We will explore several kinds of printmaking methods from screenprinting to blockprinting to printing with gelatin. At the end of class you will have created original artworks, notecards, even a t-shirt design! New and returning students are welcome.
Can’t get to class until 3:30? Not a problem! This year, the first 15 minutes of all ArtHaus after school programs will consist of supervised open studio time during which students can freely study, sketch, eat snack, or dive into self-directed projects. Instruction will not begin until 3:30pm, giving out-of-town families or those walking from Carrie Lee more time to get to ArtHaus.
On the same token, let us know if you need to schedule a late pickup. We realize that it may be difficult to pickup your child from ArtHaus at 5pm. If they need to stay with us until 5:15, we’ll make sure our teachers and assistants are aware! Look for new arrival and pickup time questions during checkout.
