$10 to Listen, $15 to Listen and Play

Join local drummer NZ and John Alibouni on the trumpet in a genre-bending jam session. A self-described “musical DIY-er”, NZ’s Improvisor’s Orchestra is a gallery concert of improvised music that blurs the lines between genres. The concert is followed by a workshop where the audience is invited to join the band and learn strategies for active participation in collective extemporaneous musical composition. All instruments/voices/styles welcome to participate! Various percussion instruments will be available to share if you don’t have your own.
